( TKT News ) : President of KPDN. Mr. Luke Rehmat has discussed a project of  KPDN with D.F.O Chitral.

Here is a project description:

Type of  project : Forest Conservation and Development Programme,during the discussion D.F.O called the Forest range officer and told him to not compromise with local people  regarding the distraction of forest in kalash valleys.

And he also told him that illegal transport of wood should be control.

And the forest range officer must be keep view on the permit holder to get their woods.

To not cut young trees from they near forest must be stop and D.F.O agree with Luke suggestion for the conservation of forest in kalash valleys.

Luke has forward a suggestion to establish a check point for forest in Dobaash or in Gombayak to control on illegal transport of local woods.

“ When I asked to establish a check post the D.F.O replied that the have no enough funds to maintain a check post and that must takes long time to be approve”

Luke told the D.F.O “ that our valleys are mountain and cover with natural forest if local inhabitant destroy this beautifully environment then there will be create certain problem for the local people”

There will be no resistance forces to stop the rain drops and that will come down as a floods which will disturb locals and their living will be in danger without the forest.

Because there are no other facilities to use as energy at domestically e.g. gas and other means of electrical energy.

And the kalash valleys included the district Chitral having no source to maintain the lives without having a proper management of this local forest.

D.F.O has agree with KPDN to provide technical support for the development of forest in kalash valleys.
